“When I first interviewed Dr. Herfindahl I was full of skepticism with a smattering of hope. After 6 months of care with another Doctor, my pain was getting worse. I could no longer walk even ½ block without a cane and was seriously considering surgery. Having a herniated disc (L-5) and a bulging disc (L-4) the pain was debilitating. This was the last-ditch before going under the knife.

After the first Spinal Decompression treatment with Dr. Herfindahl I set my cane down, and have not used it since! My cane is down for good!

“I’m 34 years old and I’ve had back trouble since I was 18 from doing various labor jobs. I’m also very active, surfing, snowboarding and other various activities. For months I had lower back pain and severe pain in my buttock and down my right leg. I couldn’t sleep at nights. I couldn’t roll over in bed to try and get in a comfortable position. Once out of bed I could hardly walk, stand or sit. Being at work was very miserable.

I had been experiencing periodic lower back pain for the last 20 years. The pain was moderate, and would usually last just a few days. But in Aug/2006 the pain was worse that I had every experienced.

The pain was sharp, and I had difficulty with simple tasks such as putting on my shoes, getting into and out of the car, and walking up and down stairs. I knew that this was not just “going to go away”.

I came to Dr. Herfindahl with Chronic Low Back Pain, Severe Neck Pain, and Numbness in my hands and my feet; Knee Pain and Hip pain/burning sensation. I have had over 13 years of military service in both the Marine Corps and Army.

I am currently undergoing DRX 9000 Spinal Decompression treatments for herniated discs in my back. So far I have no heel pain- can stand without pain. Knee pain is not as severe. Hip pain/burning sensation is gone. I am regaining feeling in hands and can feel the tips of my fingers/fingernails.
